Description
The 1906 Krauss loco is more than 100 years old and still going strong. The railway offers a fascinating insight into the machinery that built this region, including steam-powered rock crushers, traction engines, steam-powered threshing machines, steam rock crushers and all sorts of other historic machinery. The Redwater Creek Steam & Heritage Society holds its annual SteamFest on the long weekend in March each year. SteamFest is one of the biggest steam and heritage machinery events in Australia and includes the largest exhibition of working machinery anywhere in the country.
