Barrington is located 9kms (10 mins) before you reach Sheffield, when travelling from Devonport and the Spirit of Tasmania.
History
In 1963 the Mersey-Forth Hydro Development began in the Kentish Hinterland. The project comprised of 7 large dams, with power stations and 3 major tunnels.
Markets
The Barrington Hall Market occurs the last Sunday of every January, April, July and October 10am - 2pm at the Barrington Hall. The market features lots of local produce, garden stalls and crafts.
