Sheffield is Tasmania's outdoor art gallery, situated 30kms from Devonport and 90kms from Launceston, and lies in the foothills of the majestic Mount Roland with a number of walking tracks to choose from.
History combines with art in our picturesque town to provide a unique opportunity to see artists at work, following the mosaic pathway leads you to the Working Art Space. Learn more about the history of our town on our self-guided mural walking tour as you get to experience some of the more prominent murals up close. The Mural Park features the competition entries to our annual event - Mural Fest which is now taking place in November each year.
The 'Town of Murals' maintains over 160 murals throughout the town that depict the stories of our history and our residents with over 200 murals in the Kentish region.
